Vacancy Announcement for Driver

Rural Village Water Resources Management Project (RVWRMP) Phase II continues to work for improved water supply, sanitation, micro-hydro, community-based irrigation, livelihoods and other rural development initiatives in 53 VDCs in ten districts of Mid and Far Western Nepal (Achham, Baitadi, Bajhang, Bajura, Dadeldhura, Dailekh, Doti, Darchula, Humla and Kailali districts). RVWRMP is supported by the Government of Nepal and the Government of Finland, and the executing agency is MLD/DoLIDAR together with participating DDCs.

 

Driver – (some)

Duty Station
Project Support Unit (PSU) with frequent field visit to project districts

Supervisor
Chief Administrative Officer

Academic Qualification
< SLC /test pass education and having valid driving license.

Professional Experiences
Minimum two years experience in light vehicle driving

Other Skills
Good speaking and writing skill in Nepali and English

Tasks
Fully responsible for assigned the Project vehicle.
Arrangement of fuel /lubricants/distilled water etc in time for the vehicle.
Management of minor repair and maintenance of the vehicle.
Management of proper and correct mileage log book for vehicle movement and arrange signature of vehicle user.
Responsible to submit summary log book.
Keeping the vehicle in a neat, clean & good condition.
Report with log book /vehicle order form for official/private trips and out of destination trips.
Report in time about the need for major repair and maintenance.
Report any kind of events in time to the Project.
Respect and obey the order of Senior Officers and maintain good relation with all the Project Staff.
Follow Finnish vehicles rules & respect BOGs at all the time.

Others
Any other tasks assigned by the Management to achieve goal and objectives of Project relevant to his/her competency.
